✨ // THE PART WE DON'T HIDE
AND HE'S BACK WITH A VENGEANCE.
That's why we tell the untold stories only we can tell — because we're actually here, living on this coastline, not parachuting in for a week with a return flight already booked.
FOUNDER'S NOTE // WHY BALLSY.TV EXISTS — HEAR IT FROM DAVID FIRST
▶ SIX MINUTES. NO SCRIPT. NO PR. THE WHOLE COMPANY, EXPLAINED.
David's earned the right to be a big mouth about it. Two decades in UK broadcast, twenty commissions behind him — and he doesn't take shit anymore. He's bought the shirt. He's worn the shirt. He's not buying another one.
David — Creative Director & Founder, Ballsy.tv
20 years UK broadcast. 20 commissions. Still standing.
Built relationships with the Police, British Airways, Virgin, and a long list of broadcasters and brands besides — and kept every single one of those relationships on genuinely good terms. That's not luck. That's twenty years of doing right by people.
From BBC corridors to Costa del Sol beaches. Same standards. Better tan.
Great telly without killing anyone in the process. Staff first. No bullies. That is the whole company.
Seven days. Three videos. Not a penny on ads. We don’t chase the algorithm. It chases us.
BBC. Channel 4. Channel 5. ITV. Twenty commissions. We were making shows before your other fixer had a logo.
Development, production and fixing under one roof. The same people from day one to final frame. Nobody gets passed to a mate.
Great telly without killing anyone in the process. That is the whole company. It also happens to make better telly.
Permits before your flight lands. 320 days of sun. A Pomeranian in charge. Bring the brief. We bring the rest.
Every industry has them. Most companies look at the floor. We name the behaviour, we protect the people it lands on, and we make the programme anyway.
Runner to exec. Same respect, same credit, same right to say no. Nobody on a Ballsy shoot goes home smaller than they arrived.
We know the entire process, so you don’t pay to learn it. Permits, crew, locations, budgets — fixed weeks in advance. That saves companies thousands. Every time.
Factual is our specialism and where we are totally unique. Bring a true story, a hunch, a half-idea. We’ll try our very best to make it higher quality, more cinematic and harder for a commissioner to say no to.
Not a slogan. A promise. Fed, paid, rested, credited and listened to. Cared-for crews shoot better pictures. We have twenty years of proof.

TV fixer and production company on the Costa del Sol. Twenty years of UK broadcast across the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV. Twelve of them living in Spain. Ask us anything. Daft questions welcome. We have heard them all and we answer every one, usually before your coffee cools.
Real people answer. No call centre. No attitude. Just experience, and a Pomeranian who thinks he runs it.
This didn't come from a brand workshop or a poster in reception. It came from a health scare that nearly finished David off, and a decade of watching this industry drop good people the second they became inconvenient. He lived that. He's not doing it to anyone else.
Treat everyone fair. Take care of everyone we work with. That's the whole operating manual, and it's exactly what makes us different from everyone else pitching you a fixer or a production company on this coast.
That's why we tell the untold stories only we can tell — because we're actually here, living on this coastline, not parachuting in for a week with a return flight already booked.
David is stubborn. Properly, immovably stubborn. In practice, that means he will work to the very last minute to get a job delivered right — even on the days he privately wants to throttle half the crew for making his life difficult. He won't. He'll just keep working until it's done, because giving up isn't something he knows how to do anymore, on this or anything else.
We're here to commit, and we'll get through the stress together. That's the deal.

Here's the truth, plainly: David spent years fighting health problems that nearly cost him everything. While he was fighting them, companies he'd given the best part of a decade to simply dropped him. That's what this industry can do to people the moment they stop being convenient.
It took a coma and years of recovery for the lesson to fully land: television, as an industry, is often fake, and people get hurt in the process — quietly, routinely, and rarely spoken about out loud.
Ballsy.tv exists because we refuse to be that. We care about our people first, every single time. Great television and looking after the people who make it are not in conflict, no matter what anyone tells you to justify cutting corners on people.
David has the scars and the story to tell you exactly how let down he was. We will never do that to anyone who works with us. Full stop. That's not a value statement for a website — it's a promise, and we intend to keep it.
I am properly, ridiculously proud of the small team we've built. Amy, Roman, Triggs, everyone — each one brings a completely different superpower, and somehow they all stack on top of each other instead of competing for the room. That's rarer than people think, and it's not an accident.
We're not a big company, and we're not trying to be one. What we are is a small group of genuinely nice people to work with, who happen to deliver work that stands up against outfits ten times our size. Nice people and top quality content. Both, always, no exceptions, no trade-off.
The awards, if and when they come, we'll celebrate later. Right now, there's work to do.

GET IN TOUCH →The boss is hangry. Uber Eats is an hour late. 708,351 people have watched him wait. The receipt is real. The onions were not authorised.
Apologise to the CEO →
Fed, watered, in the sun and still smiling at wrap. That is not luck — that is twenty years of logistics wearing sunglasses.
Five dishes. No bullies in the kitchen. Dinner is at ten, like normal people.
Siesta policy: none on shoot days. Sadly. · Mañana: not a word in this office. · Sangría: after wrap only. · The boss: orders half a chicken. Every time.
Every postcard is a place we have shot. All of them ninety minutes from Málaga airport.
One night. One phone call. One production company on the Costa del Sol that did not go to bed. A 3D story, told by moonlight.
